Talbot Porter (died 1960) was a sixty-foot-tall pulp novelist and World War II-era four-colour, also known as Rhodes, the Colossal Man. The only founding member of the Seven Wonders to eschew a secret identity, Porter's potboiler novels were incredibly successful because of his super-exploits. It was for Porter that the first Giant Typewriter was built, leading to a small but prohibitively expensive vogue for giant typewriters across the United States.
At least one of his novels takes place in Jolt City, the hometown of one of his Seven Wonders teammates, Pharos.
